Bilona is the traditional curd-first method of making ghee. Milk is cultured into curd, the curd is churned into butter, and the butter is simmered into ghee.

It is made the bilona way, curd first, from the milk of our four named Gonda farms, the same farms behind our milk. That milk is collected in separate cans and chilled separately, never pooled with milk from unnamed suppliers.

Yes. Every batch of our Pure Cow Ghee is quality checked for purity before it is packed. As our lab partnership and certificate numbers are finalised, we will publish them so the checks are independent of us.

Keep it in a cool, dry place with a clean, dry spoon. Ghee is shelf stable and does not need refrigeration when handled cleanly.

Traditional, curd-first, named-farm ghee yields less per litre of milk and is slower to make, so it costs more than cream-based commodity ghee.

About 3.5%, which is what whole cow milk carries naturally. Toned milk is standardised to about 3.0%. Protein and calcium are broadly the same either way, so the fat is the honest difference, and it is what you taste.

Ghee is a traditional cooking fat with a high smoke point, and it has a place in a balanced diet. Like any fat it is calorie dense, so it is best used with sense, not in unlimited amounts.

Ghee is clarified butter, so most of the milk solids including lactose are removed during making. The traces left are very low, though it is not certified lactose free.

We cannot promise that, and we will not pretend otherwise. Our milk is not a treatment for lactose intolerance or a dairy allergy. If dairy genuinely does not agree with you, a better sourced bottle will not change that.

Neither is simply better. Full cream has more fat and energy, while toned milk is lighter. The right one depends on your diet and needs.

Most milk is pooled from hundreds of unnamed sources and blended, so by the time it is packed there is no single farm left to point to.

A code, often a QR, ties the pack to the named farm it came from, its named-farm batch, and confirmation that the batch passed its checks.

Every batch goes through quality testing, things like fat, solids, and basic safety screening, before it is cleared. A batch that does not pass does not get packed.

Yes, that is the whole point. We work with specific partner farms with a name, district, and herd, rather than an anonymous collection network.

We only display real credentials. We never fabricate certificate numbers or batch IDs, so anything shown is genuine and anything not yet available is simply hidden.

The cut-off is 10:00 p.m. the night before the delivery day. Changes, skips, pauses and cancellations made before then apply to the next delivery, free of charge. After the cut-off that day’s order is locked for dispatch.

Pause, skip a single day, set vacation dates, change quantity or cancel from the app, any time and with no cancellation fee or lock-in. Changes made before the 10:00 p.m. cut-off apply to the next delivery.

The wallet holds prepaid money you add to pay for subscription deliveries. Money you loaded is yours: it can be refunded to your original payment method on request, or when you close your account, subject to identity verification and settlement of anything due.

Ghee orders on the website are prepaid, paid securely through our payment gateway. Subscription deliveries are paid from your PYAAS Wallet, which you top up in advance.

Yes. Add your GST number at checkout and the invoice will carry it. An invoice is issued for every order.

Use our account and data deletion page at /delete-account. You do not need the app installed. We verify the request, delete within 30 days, and confirm when it is done. Some records are kept only where the law requires it, such as invoices for tax purposes.

Yes, and only where the service cannot work without it. Your phone number goes to our SMS provider so we can send a one-time password, your payment details go to our payment processor so a payment can clear, and your name, address and phone go to the delivery partner bringing your order. Yes, and we accept that. Keeping milk traceable to named farms is slower and costlier than blending everything, but it keeps the whole system accountable.
