People ask us about the name. PYAAS. It is short, it is unusual, and once you know what it means, it explains everything we do. So here is the story, and the promise underneath it.

PYAAS means thirst

In Hindi, pyaas means thirst. We chose it because the brand is built to satisfy a thirst, and not only the literal one. There is a deeper thirst that families in India feel every day: the thirst to actually know what they are feeding their children. Where did this milk come from? Which farm, which cows, was it tested? For most milk, those questions go unanswered. PYAAS exists to answer them.

The promise: Know Your Milk

Our tagline is not a slogan we liked the sound of. It is the whole business. Know Your Milk means you should be able to trace your milk the way you can trace almost nothing else you eat:

  • The exact farm it came from, by name.
  • The farmer who tends the herd.
  • The time the milk left the farm.
  • That batch’s lab test, including SNF and FAT.

All of it opens from a QR code on the pack. Scan it, and the mystery is gone. We explain the philosophy in what Know Your Milk really means and why most consumers do not know their milk.

What PYAAS actually makes

PYAAS is a transparency-first dairy brand. We make:

  • Single-origin A2 cow milk, from named farms rather than an anonymous pool.
  • Small-batch A2 Bilona ghee, made the slow, traditional way.

The milk is sourced from named farms in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, including our flagship Sri Radha Mohan Dairy Farm, a herd of 100 cows, and a Gir herd near Noida. Milk is delivered fresh across Delhi NCR, Lucknow and Ayodhya, and our ghee reaches families across India. Meet the farms behind every batch.

Why we built it this way

It would be easier to pool milk from thousands of farms like everyone else. We chose the harder path, single-origin and fully traceable, because that is the only way the PYAAS promise can be true rather than merely printed. Trust, we believe, should be earned with evidence, not advertising. That belief is the subject of building India’s most trusted dairy brand.

So that is PYAAS. A name that means thirst, for a dairy built to satisfy the thirst to know. One glass, fully traceable, all the way back to the cow. That is what we are here for, and it is why we are called what we are called.
